1st Thursday Webinars

On the 1^st Thursday of each month we present a Webinar to which all ManEdged Services Customers are invited. These Training Seminars cover a range of topics which give users an insight into particular areas of Solid Edge Functionality.

Recent Topics have included:  “Large Assembly Management”, "Working With None-Native 3D Data in Solid Edge", "Dynamically Configurable Sub-Assemblies" and "Systems Design in Solid Edge V18".

The presentation combines two methods of communication: the Internet and the telephone. To participate in any of the presentations you will need a PC with fast (ISDN or Broadband) Internet connection and a Telephone (preferably with speaker phone capability so that multiple users can watch via a single connection)

The quarterly agenda is viewable from our 'events' page with invitations being sent out approximately one week in advance of broadcast.

As part of your MS2000 & MS1500 agreements we include free attendance to our “What’s New Day”. This means that you stay on top of new functionality, incorporating it into your existing workflows and increasing your productivity.

We encourage the ongoing development of your knowledge of Solid Edge and offer a discount to all ManEdged Services customers for any Training Requirements. The actual amount of discount will be based upon the type of service agreement that exists between ourselves and your company

Helpdesk Express

SOLID Applications Helpdesk Express enables a live Engineer-to-Engineer approach to problem solving. By connecting to your PC through the Internet, our Support Engineers are able to take “remote control” featuring mutual mouse and keyboard sharing for fast and efficient problem solving.

Helpdesk Express (powered by GoToAssist from Citrix Online) is a Web-based screen-sharing application that helps us provide the high quality technical support services expected by our customers.  When you make a call to our Customer Helpdesk, you don’t need to spend time trying to explain your problem or query, as our Support Engineers are able to remotely access your PC and take a look for themselves. With SOLID Applications Helpdesk Express we resolve issues quickly and shorten call times significantly.

Security & Privacy

Security is a vital concern for all Web-based systems. We recognise this concern, and use the latest security technology to ensure that the data exchanged between our Customers and Support Engineers is completely secure.

Also, to ensure your privacy is protected, GoToAssist leaves the ultimate control in the hands of the Customer who actively participates in the screen-sharing process and observes every step that is taken to resolve the technical issue. At any time the Customer can retake control of the mouse and keyboard or end ScreenSharing altogether.

Dedicated Account Manager

Although you have access to the full range of skills and expertise available from the Applications Team, to ensure we deliver the most effective support possible, a specific Technical Account Manager from within the team is assigned with primary responsibility for your site. This Technical Account Manager is responsible for pro-actively supporting your installation.

Your Technical Account Manager will visit your site for a complete review of your progress through discussions with both the system users and the management responsible for your system. 

System Development Days

With our main objective being to help you develop the use of Solid Edge within your organisation, working with your Technical Account Manager you define the schedule and agenda for these inclusive days.
Typical ‘Development Days’ could be spent mentoring users on the application of new tools in the software, reviewing and improving existing processes or simply a days troubleshooting.
