Teamcenter Express Version 2 is a major new
release of UGS’ collaborative product data management (cPDM)
solution for mid-size manufacturing companies. In Teamcenter Express
Version 2 significant new capabilities have been added that expand
its scope for managing both design and manufacturing data and
processes. Key enhancements include new design collaboration
capabilities, new modules for managing NX CAM Express manufacturing
data and processes, new SAP ERP integration and expanded Microsoft
Dynamics integrations, and numerous customer requested productivity
enhancements. 
With these new capabilities Teamcenter Express significantly extends
its delivery of preconfigured industry best-practice processes, that
originally focused on the design department, into new areas such as
collaboration with external suppliers and customers and into
manufacturing departments. Teamcenter Express Version 2 is a
configuration of the Teamcenter 2005 SR1 platform and makes a
single, managed source of product and manufacturing data accessible
to all departments in a typical mid-size manufacturing organization.
